"When God called me into the ministry, I didn't at first answer. Like the young prophet Samuel, although I heard God speaking, I did not recognize His voice."
Growing with a fervent love of God and ministry, Andre L Williams Sr grew up serving the Lord in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church of Muskegon, Michigan. After serving a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps, he was honorably discharged in June of 1999. Six months later he enlisted in the United States Army and soon there after, he finally surrendered to the Call of God on his life. After uniting with the Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church of Muskegon Heights, Michigan, Minister Williams was licsened to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ on March 21, 2004. One year later Reverend Andre L. Williams Sr was ordained by the same on October 13, 2005.
Continuing to further his Heavenly Gift of proclaiming the Gospel Way and his desire to learn all aspects of church administration and leadership, Reverend Williams continually pursued to better himself in Christian Education. After attending Grand Valley Bible Institute and Colorado Christian University, Reverend Williams has been devoted to finishing Seminary studies through Andersonville Theological Seminary.

After serving as Executive Pastor of the Prayer Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Redford, Michigan, Reverend Williams relocated his family to Flint, Michigan in August 2012, where he worked for the Social Security Administration as a Claims Specialist for nearly 10 years while also serving as an Associate of the Greater Galilee Baptist Church.
In October of 2015, the Williams Family united with the Greater Galilee Baptist Church of Flint, Michigan. In January 2016, Reverend Williams began overseeing the pulpit duties of GGBC. On May 15, 2016, Reverend Andre LaVell Williams Sr was voted in as Interim Pastor and on Sunday, April 9, 2017 he was installed as the Senior Pastor/Servant Leader of the Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Flint, MI.

As of today, Pastor Williams continues to strive for church excellence in brotherly and sisterly love. Accepting the call of ministry, Pastor Williams is dedicated to make the church motto a way of living and not just a slogan on a wall.
